… movie with the working title Dawn.

Some people may have seen the trailer made by the Norwegian special effects guy, Alf Lovvold. I and Alf have teamed up, and I’ve been composing small snippets for concept art the last two months. I’ve also started to create a new palette of sounds for this movie/project. There are a lot of stuff that I need to take special care about regarding the story and the sounds I create. All of that makes this movie even more interesting for me to work on.

I have full confidence that the final product will be great. I and Alf are collaborating very well, and we both seem to have an idea of how the sound should interact with the picture, story, characters and the movie.

The movie is still in the early stage, but eventually we’ll be seeing it.

I’ve been working on a teaser for an upcoming movie. Some of you may have seen the first trailer on vimeo or youtube already. I’m super exited to announce that I’m the composer for this project/movie.

I’ll be updating this blog on a regular basis with more information about how I’ll compose the score.

Today I started to do some test recordings. This would be aimed for my new job. More details will come further down the road:)

I’ll be sampling various percussion. Toms, surdos snares, cymbals etc.

So far, so good! 🙂
